Three ways to hire us

Segment Holdings builds and runs its own software businesses. Alongside that, we take on select client work in PHP, Laravel, and Statamic. The work is done by the owner, in limited hours, so the list stays short and the scope stays fixed. Prices below are in US dollars.

PHP 8.2 reaches the end of security support on December 31, 2026. Statamic’s published support policy lists security fixes for Statamic 5 through December 2026, and notes that the date can change. If an app is still on either, this is the window to plan the upgrade.

Fixed scope, fixed price

A Rescue Audit is the usual first step. Upgrade & Rescue is quoted from that written plan. Care Plans are for apps we already understand.

Rescue Audit

$500 fixed. A written assessment of a PHP, Laravel, or Statamic codebase: security, outdated dependencies, PHP and framework version risk, code quality, and a prioritized fix plan. A good fit for legacy apps, and for AI-written or vibe-coded apps that need a cleanup.

Upgrade & Rescue

From $2,500. Fixed-scope upgrades and cleanups, quoted after the audit. Typical work includes moving off PHP 8.2 onto 8.3 or 8.4, and Laravel or Statamic major-version upgrades.

$250–$400 per month. Ongoing updates, security patches, monitoring, and small fixes. The monthly price depends on the app, and we confirm it before the plan starts.
